Ep. 26 - New York Sour + If God is Good, Then Why Bad Things?

On this week’s episode of Drinking and Thinking, we're making a New York Sour and then talking about why bad things happen if God is so good and loving. Ingredients

  • 2oz bourbon (or Lyre’s American Malt)

  • 3/4oz simple syrup

  • 1oz lemon juice

  • red wine float

 

Recipe

  • Add whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup to tin with ice

  • Shake for 20-30 seconds

  • Double strain into low ball glass with large ice cube

  • Use the back of a bar spoon to add a red wine float

  • Garnish with lemon peel
